I was honored to serve as guest faculty for Real World Ophthalmology’s “On the Road: Global Experience Dinner” in Philadelphia on August 7, 2026.
The evening focused on clinical experiences from around the world, and I was privileged to join fellow guest faculty Drs. Fasika Woreta, Kanwal Matharu, and Sheena Song in sharing perspectives and lessons from our international experiences in ophthalmology.
The program also featured an advanced workshop on contract negotiation led by Lisa M. Nijm, MD, JD, offering practical insights for residents, fellows, and practicing ophthalmologists.
It was a wonderful evening of education, conversation, and camaraderie, with ophthalmologists at different stages of their careers coming together to learn from one another and make new connections. I am grateful to Real World Ophthalmology and Dr. Nijm for the invitation and the opportunity to serve as guest faculty for such a memorable evening in Philadelphia.
