Protecting Sight #322: Shah Rukh Khan’s thoughts on humanity, fame and love. Wills Eye anterior segment surgery & bilateral fourth nerve palsy. Life lessons from the Berkshire Hathaway annual meeting.

Welcome to my daily learning journal. Here is today’s list:

1. Ted Talk – Shah Rukh Khan: Thoughts on humanity, fame and love. “‘I sell dreams, and I peddle love to millions of people,’ says Shah Rukh Khan, Bollywood’s biggest star. In this charming, funny talk, Khan traces the arc of his life, showcases a few of his famous dance moves and shares hard-earned wisdom from a life spent in the spotlight.” (

A master movie star, poet, and story teller.

2. Wills Eye Anterior Segment Surgery Update – One of the best Saturday morning courses I’ve attended. Loved the opportunity to participate in the practical course after the morning sessions. The didactic lectures should be available on the Wills Eye knowledge portal in the weeks ahead.

3. Andrew Lee MD – Bilateral 4th nerve palsy.

Dr. Lee’s 450+ neuro-ophthalmology reviews are perfect for lifelong learning.

4. Berkshire Hathaway Annual Meeting – Warren Buffett and Charlie Munger share remarkable life lessons during the BRK annual meetings. The livestream is about 4 hours, which I’ll enjoy over the coming days. This is a must-watch for value investors and lifelong learners.
