#ProtectingSight #464: The most detailed map of galaxies, black holes and stars ever made. Traumatic loss of zonular support & diabetic soft cataracts. Anchoring techniques in Thinking, fast and slow.

Welcome to my daily learning journal. Here is today’s list:

1. Ted Talk – Juna Kollmeier: The most detailed map of galaxies, black holes and stars ever made.

Great talk. Love Ted Talks which combine historical achievements and future aspirations.

2A. Cataract Surgery – Dr. Uday Devgan & guest surgeon Dr. Guillermo Amescua – 1232: traumatic loss of zonular support. Great pearls.

2B. Dr Deepak Megur – Difficult soft nucleus , Can’t crack & can’t separate. Toric IOL. Great case.

3. Andrew Lee MD – Brown Syndrome.

Dr. Lee’s neuro-ophthalmology reviews are perfect for lifelong learning.

4. Daniel Kahneman – Thinking, Fast and Slow – Chapter 11, “Anchoring.” This chapter pays for the whole book! (I’m reading an OverDrive Kindle library version, but still)

This is a must read among lifelong learners and value investors.
