#ProtectingSight #354: Google’s driverless car. Remote capsulorhexis training & ocular neuromyotonia. Beyond rich & the essential ingredients of an abundant life.

Welcome to my daily learning journal. Here is today’s list:

1. Ted Talk – Sebastian Thrun: Google’s driverless car. “Sebastian Thrun helped build Google’s amazing driverless car, powered by a very personal quest to save lives and reduce traffic accidents. Jawdropping video shows the DARPA Challenge-winning car motoring through busy city traffic with no one behind the wheel, and dramatic test drive footage from TED2011 demonstrates how fast the thing can really go.” (ted.com)

I often enjoy innovative technology talks when they are first introduced to a Ted audience. Wonderful to see how driverless technology has changed in the last decade.

2. Cataract Surgery – Uday Devgan MD – 1122: Remote Capsulorhexis Training. Dr. Devgan stays on the cutting edge. Love this video on remote learning for advanced techniques.

3. Andrew Lee MD – Ocular neuromyotonia.

Dr. Lee’s neuro-ophthalmology reviews are perfect for lifelong learning.

4. William Green, Richer, Wiser, Happier. Epilogue, “Beyond Rich.”

As extraordinary conclusion to a remarkable book. Green’s book is filled with life lessons.
