#ProtectingSight #374: What your money habits reveal about you. Operating on an ophthalmologist’s spouse & prisms in neuro-ophthalmology. Jack Bogle’s common sense investing pearls.

Welcome to my daily learning journal. Here is today’s list:

1. Ted Talk – Robert A. Belle: What your money habits reveal about you. “Your money habits reveal a lot about you: your hopes, fears, dreams and other deep personal truths you may not even be aware of, says accountant Robert A. Belle. He shares how taking stock of your transaction history can unlock surprisingly valuable insights about what drives you to spend (and save) — and provides practical tips on how to perform an “emotional audit” of your expenses.” (ted.com)

Nice talk with valuable insights.

2A. Cataract Surgery – Uday Devgan MD – 1142: the ophthalmologist’s wife. Great pearls.

2B. Dr. Andrew Kovalenko – Elevate and chop technique phacoemulsification. Well done.

3. Andrew Lee MD – Prisms in Neuro-Ophthalmology.

Dr. Lee’s neuro-ophthalmology reviews are perfect for lifelong learning.

4. John C. Bogle – The Little Book of Common Sense Investing: The Only Way to Guarantee Your Fair Share of Stock Market Returns (Little Books, Big Profits). Chapter 3-7.

I picked up this 2007 edition for $1 at the Cherry Hill Public Library book sale a few years ago. One of the best investments in the world. Timeless pearls by Jack Bogle, the founder of Vanguard. (I’m also a huge fan of bogleheads.org, an investing advice forum).
