#ProtectingSight #456: The power of introverts. Phaco machine sounds & subclavian steal syndrome. Leading the quiet revolution.

Welcome to my daily learning journal. Here is today’s list:

1. Ted Talk – Susan Cain: The power of introverts.

Wonderful talk (29 million+ views). Cain’s guest appearance on The Knowledge Project (#4 below) led me to her 2012 Ted Talk. Filled with insights which may make you stand up and clap.

2. Cataract Surgery – Dr. Uday Devgan – 1224: listen to your phaco machine. Great pearls.

3. Andrew Lee MD – Subclavian steal syndrome.

Dr. Lee’s neuro-ophthalmology reviews are perfect for lifelong learning.

4. Episode 24: Leading the “Quiet Revolution” with Susan Cain — Shane Parrish writes, “Susan Cain shares powerful insights into what it really means to be introverted and extroverted, and how to tap into your true self to find purpose and happiness in your life.”

Highly suggest watching Susan Cain’s Ted Talk and this podcast jam session on the same day! I also need to read her book.
